To pass your Project Management Professional PMP exam in 30 days, consider these fours pro tips

1. Sign up to be trained by a reputable Project Management Professional Training Organization.

There are several Project Management Professional Training organizations out there with different promises and deliverables but not all have the capacity to help you pass your PMP exam at first attempt within this short period of time. So you should let your trainer know the situation behind your timeframe. For such an urgent request, I recommend DexNova Learning for your Project Management Professional Training. They have an excellent track record and coaching service that has proven successful time and time again. You can check out their testimonials and LinkedIn page to see what others are saying about their PMP Training.

2. 100% Commitment (Your Highest Priority)

Getting the best of training for your Project Management Professional Exam is a good start and has a great impact towards your exam success but this is not the only area of focus. You need to fully commit yourself to achieve this success through study and practice. For the next 30 days, you have to make this Exam one of your highest priorities and set aside quality time to study and practice. Decide what you want to achieve, stick to it and avoid any form of distraction.

3. Study Consistently

Consistency is the key to every great success. Study consistently on a daily basis until you write the PMP exam. I know this might sound tasking and intimidating to some people but to succeed, you must decide and put a certain minimum number of hours every day.

4. Study Quality PMP Materials

The internet is crowded with information about the PMP exam but not all the materials you see online are relevant for success. Another reason why I recommend DexNova Learning’s Project Management Course which includes premium materials, support resources and mock exams that will save you tons of hours of study and point you in the right direction. Avoid wasting your time and energy (which you don’t have the luxury of right now). Consider the recommendations from your coach and you can also ask your friends who have recently passed the PMP exam about their experience and materials recommendations which will help you prepare better.

While planning, you need to be aware of some events that will take some time. Plan your schedule with all these in mind.

5. Training: If you have not already completed your Project Management Training, it will take some time to get this sorted out. The PMP Exam requires that you have a minimum of 35 contact hours of training and this training must be complete before you can submit your PMP Application form. Most training programs take between 4 – 10 days to complete and some are not consecutive days. You need to factor this into your plan.

6. Application and Payment: You can start and complete your PMP Application in one day if you have all your information handy. Check out our guide on How To Complete The PMP Application. The application process also allows you to save and continue later, meaning you can take your time to document and review your PMP application before finally submitting it. You have up to 90 days to complete your application once you start. After submitting, PMI can take between 5 – 7 days to approve your application before you can move on in paying and selecting your exam date. Include a realistic time frame for this to cover for any inconvenience and keep in mind that PMI randomly selects applications for Audit. If you are selected for Audit, you will be required to send in proof of your claim to PMI and this may take additional days from your timeline.

7. Scheduling: After you have made payment,, you need to pick a suitable date when you go in for the PMP Exam. The good news is that PMI has 2 options; Centre Based Test (CBT) and Online Proctored Test(OPT). These options create flexibility on exam dates but you should keep in mind that several people are also booking for the same exam. It is wise to secure your date early enough by booking it down because you have a tight deadline and avoid surprises of unavailable dates when you push too close to your expected date.

Trust me if you put all these tips mentioned above in practice, your PMP certification exam is going to be smooth and successful. I wish you exam success!!
